SKI PERFORMANCE HOLIDAY WEEK
23rd - 30th November 2019 (23rd & 30th are travel days) Course Full
Who are the courses for?
Our ski performance holiday week is for all levels of teenage & adult parallel skiers who have enthusiasm for learning the fundamentals of skiing.
Our Level 1 & Level 2 prep week is for those either looking to do their level 1 ski instructor certification or for instructors getting ready for their level 2. It is also ideal for anyone needing to do a L2 technical re-sit or use the training as Continual Professional Development (CPD). The course is suitable for members of any national association: IASI, BASI, NZSIA, CSIA, PSIA, APSI etc.
Learn in a fun and friendly environment with our elite coaches who work full time in the Alps each Winter. These weeks are such fun and are very sociable.
Please note that the L1 & L2 prep week is 'course only' giving participants the chance to arrange their own accommodation. Should you be interested in the hotel we use for the ski performance holiday week then please get in touch.
Come and enjoy our ski holiday week or ski instructor prep course where our coaches look after you each day and provide expert technical ski tuition to help you be the best you can be on your skis!
On our PD courses we focus on how you balance on your skis to be able to use your equipment and body to get the best results possible. To achieve this we use the SkiA Sweetspot trainers and other balance equipment to check out your balance and biomechanics. Any weaknesses in your Biomechanics will be identified and an individual training programme available.
All our coaches use Video Analysis during each day to help you with your understanding and awareness of your movements.
Snow courses cover skills for developing your piste performance (shorts turns, long turns), variable terrain, bumps, off piste & freeride.
Meet at 9.00am for introduction and chat, snow sessions till lunch break around 12.00pm, back on the slope for 12.45pm till round up at 3.30pm (times may vary depending on location, weather & resort).
We always recommend you have your own equipment for snow skiing, well fitting and appropriate boots are essential (piste carving skis and all-terrain skis are suitable, ). All our coaches wear helmets, we recommend wearing a helmet for active skiing.
All our guests must ensure and are responsible for their own winter sports activity insurance which covers all skiing including off piste with a qualified instructor/mountain guide.
