ON SNOW
Our skiing courses and holidays have been running since 1999 and over the years we have worked with many recreational skiers and instructors developing their skiing performance - technically, tactically, physically and psychologically.
We are now working with our partner ski school BASS Chamonix to deliver a range of performance courses in the Chamonix Valley and Evasion Mont Blanc.
PSIE COURSES
The Professional Ski Instructors of Europe PSIE was founded in February 2024. The Parallel Dreams Coaching Academy is proud to be a Licensed Course provider for PSIE .
For the winter season 2024/25 we will be running a Level 2 Ski Instructor Course in Les Contamines, France. To find out more, eligibility criteria, and to book your place click on the more info button below.
COACHING
Derek Tate offers online coaching specialising in mental health and the development of mental skills. While many of his clients are athletes this coaching is for anyone who wants to develop skills such as self-talk, relaxation, meditation, mindfulness, imagery, flow, mental toughness, resilience and more.
Derek's background in sport, teaching & learning and positive psychology offers great insights into how to develop purpose and meaning in life.

At the Parallel Dreams Coaching Academy our philosophy is Learn it, Love it, Live it. To make this philosophy a reality we use the Parallel Dreams Coaching Academy Method: Learn - Enjoy - Flow & Grow. Whatever the environment or activity we use this method to help our guests and learners to truly enjoy what they do and to maximise their potential.
While the mountains provide the ideal playground for experiencing our coaching in action we also deliver our coaching services through Derek Tate's online coaching.
Our skiing side of the business takes place in Chamonix Mont Blanc and the Evasion Mont Blanc in France throughout the season.
Whatever your goals (or indeed if you wish to set some goals) our coaches can help you to develop your performance, understand your learning preferences and what gives you motivation and energy.
